Keep Saturday evening, Nov. 21, free to enjoy a delicious dinner at Prince of Peace. The Parish Activities Board will provide turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy. This is a traditional time to give thanks, share a meal, and provide an opportunity for an offering to the Thrivent Prince of Peace Scholarship Fund to assist congregation students to attend Concordia, Portland. The M&M's, (Middle & Mature) Thursday Women's Bible Study, Prayer Session at 10:30, Bible Study Session begins at 11:00. Women may attend either sessions or both. All women are welcome to attend!
Preschool Seeks Angels - Several of our preschool families are in need of help due to home loss, job loss and hours cut. Despite these difficulties, they still invest in their children’s preschool education because they understand its value. The preschool board has devoted a portion of our budget for assisting these parents with tuition payments. Additionally, some members of our congregation (“Angels”) are assisting on a monthly basis. If you would like to join these angels and contribute as well, please contact Gerry Dunne, Preschool Director or Clark Holcolmb, Chairman of the Board of Child Development. Many thanks!
Thanks for Your Support! The preschool staff and board wishes to convey a huge thank you to all for your generous contributions on Preschool Sunday last Sunday! We also appreciate your participation in our recent “fun” fundraisers. Now we’re taking orders for delicious and convenient cookie dough—Otis Spunkmeyer’s—the best! Catalogs and sign up sheets for the cookie dough are in the Narthex and Fellowship Hall. (Ordering closes tomorrow, Monday, the 2nd.
